INTERNATIONAL LITERACY MONTH

READING CONTEST FOR ADULTS

From September 1 to September 30

The Literacy Council-Marquette County-is hosting a reading contest for adults.  Prizes will be awarded to the most avid reader at each library, plus a grand prize will be given for the most books read in the county.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Log the number of books you read onto the clipboard on the Library’s circulation desk.  Print and digital copies both count.

LEGO CLUB

LEGO CLUB!

Lego Club meets the third Tuesday of each month from 6-7PM.  Members vote on a theme for the following club date.  July's theme was "Amusement Park."  Creations are now on display at the library.  The August theme will be "Camping." Call (608) 296-2544 for more information.

Silent Auction 2014

The Friends of the Library are seeking items for their 2014 Annual Silent Auction to be held August 23-August 30. 

Please bring items in by Monday, August 18

Examples:  furniture, gift baskets, collectables,  household items, tools, sports equipment, or other items that would make someone happy.  Items should be new or gently used.
