The Westfield Library received and anonymous $100 bill which was buried in a sack of food given in response to the Peace Crane Tree and Food-for-Fines programs. The envelope was found by Library Director, Marie Boleman, while she was sorting through the groceries that had been dropped off that day. The envelope simply said, “For Food Pantry for whatever you need.”
The deadline for the Peace Crane Tree and Food-for-Fines programs is Monday, December 17th. The Westfield Library also collected 135 books in new condition for The Tots-to-Teens Book drive, which is sponsored by the Literacy Council, Marquette County.
