Check out this week-long celebration of programs:

“Shelfies “(All Ages)

A library twist on the digital “selfie.”  Take your picture with a book that influenced you in some way.  Then comment on it and let the library post it on the website.   You can email it to:  or, come in and have library staff photograph you anytime from now until April 19.  Participants will receive a grab bag surprise.   

Looking for a job?  Here is a program for all job seekers.  Career Advisor, Jacob Johnson, will offer advice and next steps for your job seeking challenges.  He will also answer questions about online job websites Worksmart and the Job Center of Wisconsin.  Learn to use them more effectively.   Thursday, April 17: 1-3PM.  Call by April 15th to register (608) 296-2544

Top 100

 Numerous book lists by genre will be available for folks to take home and use to get suggestions for their next reads.

“Did You Know?” (All Ages)

Answer trivia questions about the Ethel Everhard Memorial Library.  Top score receives a gift certificate.

Half-Pay Week (All Ages) 

Have fines?  Have overdue materials?  Bring them back during National Library Week for half-off your fines.   The remainder of your fine must be paid that day (Excludes lost or damaged materials).                                                                   

Culvers Contest (Age 11 and younger)               

Pick up an entry form from the library anytime from now until April 19.  Deadline to submit an entry is April 19.  Draw/color a picture based on a book you read.  Every participant receives a coupon for a free Culver’s cone.  Top two in each age category receive an award.  Categories are:  Ages 0-4, 5-8, and 9-11.
